About Sangarida Godello

What if a single legend could change its scenery? Sangarida reemerges, this time in Bierzo, adorned as a white wine with a much more radiant character. The nymph who caused the handsome Attis to fall hopelessly in love and break the vow he made to the goddess Cybele finds new life here in the form of a young, fresh, and vibrant godello.
 
Behind this tale are the Fariña brothers, Robustiano and Baldomero, the third generation of a family that perceives wine as a way to interpret each plot, each variety, and each landscape. At Sangarida Godello, they work with grapes sourced from the young vineyards of Campo, Molinaseca, and San Lorenzo del Bierzo (Castilla y León, Spain), cultivated with an ecological philosophy and surrounded by the landscape that shapes the character of the wines from Bodega Attis.
 
The manual harvest and selection table process allow the godello to express itself naturally. It ferments in stainless steel and rests for three months on its fine lees, preserving all the liveliness that defines it. In the glass, white fruit, flowers, and hints of wild herbs emerge, while a refreshing acidity keeps the ensemble light, juicy, and full of energy.
 
Sangarida Godello is a white wine seemingly crafted for an open table, midday light, and a conversation whose duration is yet unknown. For even the most ordinary uncorkings can conceal a great story waiting to be told.
