Behind Casa Pratas are João Pratas and Ana Cavaca, two enthusiasts dedicated to reviving the identity of a land with centuries of winemaking heritage. Their project stems from a simple vision: to listen to what the landscape has to say and to allow each bottle to preserve something of that blend of sun, river, and soil that defines Ribatejo. Rather than seeking a recognisable label, they aim to express a place.
 
Casa Pratas Carrasqueira is a natural red wine crafted from a blend of traditional regional varieties, led by the castelão grape, complemented by syrah and tinta roriz, among others. It presents a profile where the fruit emerges clean and juicy, accompanied by a fresh sensation reminiscent of the riverbanks where it originates. Its passage on the palate is gentle and enveloping, with a texture that adds depth without losing lightness, like a conversation that begins calmly and ends by extending the meal.
